Manaia Community Preschool is a family focused centre that prides itself in providing a quality early childhood curriculum for three and four year old children.
Our team of dynamic teachers implement an innovative and interactive programme based on a philosophy that encourages children to play within set-limits and boundaries to promote self-esteem, social skills, and fun, which in turn empowers children to learn!
We value the contributions of our families and warmly welcome whaanau to come and be involved in their child's education.
Our team recognises that for many of you making a choice about your child's early childhood education is an important one.
We have an open door policy, so come in and check us out for yourselves.
Additional information is available to our parents and whaanau and this includes policies, newsletters and children's individual portfolios.

Welcome to your first days at Manaia community Preschool
Our experience shows us that this is the most important time for a child and their whaanau. As much as is practically possible our teachers dedicate their time to introduce you and your child to the people, routines and physical environment. There is a lot to take in and it takes time to make connections and build relationships. Our staff look forward to spending time with you and getting to know you, so we can best meet the learning needs of your child.
WHAT TO BRING TO PRESCHOOL
Healthy choice of food contained in a lunchbox and a water bottle (ensure they are named)
Change of clothes (named)
Sunhat (Terms 1 and 4)- Please apply sunscreen prior to attendance.
Jacket and Warm Hat (Terms 2 and 3)
